RoSPA Play Quality Awards
A RoSPA Play Quality Award is the ultimate testimonial to your authority’s or organisation’s commitment to the provision of good child play opportunities and inclusion for disabled people. It is undoubtedly the most effective method of demonstrating your commitment to your ‘peers’, charge payers and other stakeholders.
RoSPA Play Quality Awards are made in two categories:
- Play Operator Awards
Awarded to local authorities and other organisations that operate play areas for good local inspection and maintenance regimes, as well as excellence in promoting high play value and the inclusion of disabled people.
- Individual Site Awards
These awards will recognise excellence in play value and inclusion for disabled people at individual play areas.
Play Quality Awards are aimed at authorities and organisations wishing to prove to themselves and others that they take young people’s safety seriously. They also provide recognition for others who help raise play standards across the board, by working hard to improve their own performance.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents – one of the world’s leading health and safety organisations – therefore invites authorities and organisations of all sizes and types and from all over the world to enter the RoSPA Play Quality Awards Scheme.
Applications for RoSPA Play Quality Site Awards may be made at any time. The overall awards round begins in January each year the closing date for entries is 13th April.
