There are strong economic, legal and humane reasons for learning to manage stress and violence. Not only do negative effects of stress cost the UK an estimated £3.7 billion a year – the HSE also requires that employers conduct risk assessments

This course aims to empower managers to tackle the root causes of stress proactively. This includes the role played by actual or threatened violence in the workplace. It adopts a risk assessment approach, with an emphasis on tackling stress and violence within existing health and safety management systems. |
