What will the delegate bring back to the workplace?
● An understanding of the roles and responsibilities of all parties involved in work experience placement
● An understanding of the causation theory of work related accidents/incidents and ill-health and the methods of prevention
● The ability to identify a range of common hazards presented by workplaces, and control measures necessary to ensure the risks are reduced to an acceptable level
● The ability to communicate effectively with employers providing work experience opportunities, so they are reasonably satisfied that those employers will fulfil their health and safety responsibilities to those on work experience placements |
