RoSPA’S NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE NAMED
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents today announced the appointment of Tom Mullarkey MBE as its Chief Executive, with effect from May 30, 2006.
Tom Mullarkey, formerly a distinguished Army Officer, has worked in a range of commercial and not-for-profit organisations including Warburgs Merchant Bank, the Manchester Commonwealth Games and the National Security Inspectorate.
RoSPA President, Baroness Gibson of Market Rasen, said: “RoSPA is at the forefront of safety campaigning and provides a range of safety services to all parts of the public and private sector. Tom Mullarkey brings to RoSPA a wealth of experience and achievements and I am confident that his appointment will mark a further milestone in our proud history.
“I know that our staff, members and clients will welcome his appointment.”
He succeeds the late John Howard OBE, who died in July 2005.
