National Home & Leisure Safety CommitteeThe Committee is a voluntary association of organisations selected to provide a broad cross section of home and leisure safety interests. The membership includes representatives from Government Departments, Regional Home and Leisure Safety Councils as well as organisations such as Age Concern and the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. It is an advisory committee to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. The aim of the Committee is to reduce the number and severity of accidents in and around the home. The Committee meets three times a year. A series of Regional Councils affiliated to RoSPA also meet at regular intervals across the United Kingdom.
