RoSPA in Europe : Child Safety
RoSPA shares the UK seat on the working group of the Alliance with the Child Accident Prevention Trust. The European Child Safety Alliance is an initiative of the European Association for Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion (EuroSafe) to advance child injury prevention throughout Europe. The mission of the Alliance is to enhance the quality of children's lives through the power of reason, solidarity and compassion. The Alliance has three goals.
Over the past two years the alliance has campaigned to prevent child drownings all over Europe. It is now turning its attention to home safety issues. Some members, including RoSPA are helping to produce national child safety action plans.
