Managing Occupational Road Risk (MORR™)
RoSPA has been campaigning for the last six years for organisations to adopt a proactive risk management approach to reducing the risks connected with ‘at work’ vehicle use, tackling this issue within the framework which they will already have in place for managing health and safety at work.
As a member of the Government’s Work Related Road Safety Task Group, RoSPA has been helping to establish a national strategy on MORR™, including the development of forthcoming HSE guidance for employers on their duties to manage risk on the road under the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.

To assist our clients in meeting the new legal requirements and avoiding the expense of higher insurance premiums, legal costs, etc, RoSPA has developed two consultancy services:
- MORR™ Review – looking at where the organisation currently stands in terms of MORR™.
- MORR™ Fleet Consultancy – whereby a RoSPA consultant goes through all the procedures and practices necessary to implement an effective MORR™ strategy
Further to this, RoSPA offer an MORR™ course, designed to educate managers regarding their legal obligations and encourage the development of an accident-free culture in your organisation.
