Occupational Health Management
According to recent research there are annually 2.4 million cases of work related ill health and that 10,000 to 20,000 persons die prematurely due to work related ill health. As this is often due to regular exposure to low levels of physical, chemical or biological agents or poor workplace ergonomics it is vital that organisations look to 
manage occupational health.
RoSPA can help you evaluate and as appropriate enhance, occupational health management arrangements. In providing this service the RoSPA consultant will carry out a comprehensive audit of both your occupational health procedural arrangements against current best practice and the degree to which these standards are achieved in practice. This service typically addresses:

- Workplace ergonomics
- Management of legionnella
- Management of display screen equipment
- Management of hand-arm vibration
- The provision of specialist occupational health management assistance
- The management of stress
A full and comprehensive report will be produced that will describe the current situation and include a draft action plan of how current arrangements can be enhanced.
Subsequent to receipt of the audit report and adoption of a remedial action plan, RoSPA’s consultant can, if required, support its systematic implementation as well as verifying by audit that objectives have been met.
